Default bodykits/turbo conversions ?

Does anyone know where i can find some good body kits or kit websites ?

and whats better turbo conversion, priced approx $15000 (thats how much i will have to spend) or buy a turbo engine. im not sure how much coin is needed for a new engine.

Cheers.

2j motors are about 3500 depending if its turbo...nt will be a little cheaper, for the 7m its about 1900 for a turbo and a little cheaper for a nt, mk3 body kits, theres a thread about that somewhere, mk4...just google that you should find what you need

its kind of sad of the number of body kits of the MKIV's compared to the MKIII's

yea, i would assume there would be an equal aftermarket backing to both platforms, since they are both amazing cars...

brand new? as in no miles whatsoever? uhh...not really but i would assume a toyota dealership? but i still would highly doubt you could get a 7m with tranny brand new...i know a bunch of places you can get it used with low miles or totally rebuilt...but brand new...im nto sure you can get one anymore

mm...rebuilt motors...ill have to look around for that...but i do know places where they sell low mileage motors if you would like that...rebuilt motors are usually engines that have a lot of miles or had some problems...and theyre just refurbished so theyre like new...i honestly would go with a low mileage because then you would know theres no previous major problems..but i will try and see where to get rebuilt motors for you

honestly..ebay is a great resource..though some sellers are madd shady and there are scams...so i feel ya when u dont wanna get anything off ebay as for rebuilt motors try these guys

http://www.powerpro2000.com/lb_toyota.htm

they do rebuilt motors but they alrdy have the long blocks in store so you basically send them you motor and they send u a crate motor back....not the one you sent them but one that is rebuilt to factory specs they also assemble transmissions though im not sure if they will rebuild your transmission...you might want to call them up for that, my friend used these guys to get another h22 but just the block, also

http://www.wiegand-liners.com/toyota-engines.html

try these guys..i just found them..they remanufacture and rebuild supra motors also...plus u get a 7yr warranty which should make it pretty reliable

as for the transmission:

http://www.importperformancetrans.com/toyotaauto.shtml

these guys will give you a rebuild kit...meaning all the parts you need but you will have to resource the labor either you or someone else

http://www.cjee.com/toyota.htm

these guys sell transmissions as well as motors...but theyre not rebuilt theyre just used... if you want used motors and transmissions (a clip) try my number one source www.jdmenginedepot.com they update their site weekly if not daily..with their inventory...but they dont list everything they have so you might want to call them up...i hope this information helps you
