Default JDM SUPRA RZ 6speed. Question?

I need to know why the JDM RZ supra equip with VVT-I engine got NA brakes in the front. My second question is 99 JDM RZ Supra vvt-i equiped with 6speed tranny did it had LSD differential or NON LSD. Appreciate your help.

Hi Jeff,

I believe that only Toyota could answer your first question.

To your second question, I'd guess LSD, but I don't know for sure. We've amassed quite a bit of very specific knowledge about the '93.5-'98 US import Mkiv's, but not a lot yet about the '99+ JDMs... Hopefully you can educate us!

Many thanks in advance...

Your first questions depends on what year the car is. I believe that from 93 to late 95 JDM Supra's all had the smaller front brakes on them except if the bigger brakes were ordered as an optional extra from the Toyota factory. Late 95 or early 96 Supra's all had the bigger brakes on the front.
If a Supra has a VVTi engine it should be 96 Model or younger with the bigger brakes. Small brakes and VVti could mean an engine transplant in an older Supra!

As for the Diff's all Turbo's had the Torsen (Torque Sensing) LSD Diff.

Actually '96+ US-spec auto TTs did not have an LSD (despite Toyota documentation to the contrary).

You're right! There does seem to be some mixed information about the LSD on the AUTO. Some stuff I looked at suggests LSD optional 93-96 and std afterwards. But can't be sure except LSD on all Turbo 6speed.
