i saw something about the c6 zo6, I DEFENATLEY dont think that a c6 z06 could beat ANY modified supra. If the modded supra had over 470 rwhp it would beat the z06. But then again if you lingenfelter twin turbo this car expect numbers like this 0-60 1.76 ..... 1/4 mid low 8 seconds. And yes its a street car and still can daily drive. |

I lived in Dearborn Michigan for 7 years (SVT territory) and even some of the guys at SVT admitted that the weak link in the Cobra is Getting it to hook up.
(They though it was a big joke when ford would have them build a 700hp monster for the Woodward dream cruise "Hows it drive? Like a old F150 on ice") The second weak link is when the Cobra Driver shifts into second gear. I always pull away from them at that point (My Supra TT is an Automatic) I love to see their hood dip, then they see my taillights. Last edited by 94TT; 03-08-2006 at 12:30 AM. |

first off anyone who owns a slowbra is an idiot and shouldnt be considered any type of tuner bc its the worst bang for your buck in its catagory and the GTO has a ton more potential so let the brainless idiots talk all the shit they want btw the 03/04 cobra is faster then MK4's and 3KGT's (bone stock) but what I want to know is what the f*ck ford was doing all 10 years it took for them to finally beat a 1993 6cyl????????????????????????????

not hating on domestics but all people do to them really is exhaust, intake, and a supercharger. you see mustangs all around also, why is that? they are cheap, not bad, but cheap. they have potential just like any car, add a little money, boom you got ### horsepower. but personally i think if you go dollar to dollar, pony to pony, imports will get down the street/track first...depending on the driver of course

as a GM tech and a loyal import owner, i can tell you that the only GM products that I would ever recommend or buy would be any of their cars or trucks with V8, anything with less than 8 cylinders is crap...and I,m not hating...it's the truth...(I hope no GM big wig sees this,....they sign my checks) any ways, reliability is the keyword here....but about the bout between the vr 4 and the cobra.... the vr 4 takes it .......
