Would you rather have 700hp or turbo hp or 700hp of N/A hp? to everyone

Imo, 700hp of turbo, because that typically means even more hp is as simple as turning up the boost (and adding some octane).

w/e turbo boy, anyone who knows anything about cars would say that 700hp of na power would walk all over 700hp of turbo power

Some things that I think are facts.
A car with 700hp without a turbo would have more power & torque in the lower RPM's.

A car with 700hp with a turbo will have better traction off starts since it won't spin the wheels as much=better grip off starts.

And suggesting that pwpanas does not know anything about cars :roflwtf:
He is the biggest contributor *easily* in the MKIV section.

Maybe in the 1/8th, 'pushrod kid' ... but somehow I don't think cars were invented to race a stone's throw and then shut down to sip a bud.

Tony, thanks for your kind words & support...

I lived in Dearborn Michigan for 7 years (SVT territory) and even some of the guys at SVT admitted that the weak link in the Cobra is Getting it to hook up.
(They though it was a big joke when ford would have them build a 700hp monster for the Woodward dream cruise "Hows it drive? Like a old F150 on ice") The second weak link is when the Cobra Driver shifts into second gear. I always pull away from them at that point (My Supra TT is an Automatic) I love to see their hood dip, then they see my taillights.

Alright whatever, I think its dumb that we should be bickering about a turbo or n/a, just your opinion and how you drive, but the fact of the matter is they both have 700hp, and another thing im hardly a "pushrod kid" I drive a 99 bmw m3.

first off anyone who owns a slowbra is an idiot and shouldnt be considered any type of tuner bc its the worst bang for your buck in its catagory and the GTO has a ton more potential so let the brainless idiots talk all the shit they want btw the 03/04 cobra is faster then MK4's and 3KGT's (bone stock) but what I want to know is what the f*ck ford was doing all 10 years it took for them to finally beat a 1993 6cyl????????????????????????????

See it's that kind of attitude in the first part of your post that gives Supra owners a pigheaded reputation in the domestic community and some parts of the import community...I've been in both..owned a turbo RSX for a number of years and up until recently owned a Lightning...there is a bit of truth to the fact that cobra owners can be cocky, but the same can be said for most drivers of coveted sportscars..Supra included..but for the most part in the years I spent with Lightning/Cobra guys, they're just as much tuners as any import guys I've seen...theyre not idiots for buying a Cobra..in some aspects its better than a Supra, in some its not...and what was Ford doing those 10 years? Marketing to a different crowd..they had the Mustang, which was selling like hotcakes, and still does. The Japanese industry was way ahead of Ford back then though, but shortly after SVT was established, they started building the first Lightnings and Cobras (and Escorts and Contours..belch), which were still very nice and decently fast cars. And even to this day those old 93's have some crazy potential (Go find your local T78 Gen I Lightning and see what that can do) While I'm still biased to like imports, I'm still gonna say you were way outta line with those comments...respect should be given to either side; each has their pros and cons and uninformed and disrespectful comments like that only provoke the other side and make us look bad. That being said,as is the general consensus, the Terminator will definately take out the MKIV and the VR4 in the quarter, but when it comes autox time, the cobra is a fish outta water...but it wasnt built to do that was it? Cobra owners generally buy them not to autox but to take it fast and straight, and it's very good at doing that.
