Question Supra Targa Top Conversion???

I plan on getting a 1993 Supra TT and it has a hard top, is it possible or has anyone heard of doing a targa top conversion without many problems???

1) The conversion would be quite difficult, since the overall length of the roof line is different between the targa and the hardtop. In other words, the conversion would involve much more bodywork than simply cutting and welding at the mounting points for the targa.
2) In the US at least, the hardtop is a more rare, and therefore more valuable model. It's lighter, and the overall chassis is stiffer, which generally makes it a better 'sports car'. If at all possible, I'd suggest you reconsider your decision to do the converison.

you will use it less than you think. Looks good but i only take mine off on certain days. If it was a automatic retractable hard top that would be a diffrent story

+++ When wife rides in car she complains it messes up her hair so i use it even less....

If it was up to me i would of ripped the AC system out and would of pulled the targa off every chance i had
