Do a diagnostic, check the faqs section and look for the thread on doinga diagnostic.

could be a reallt bad vacuum leak,
but when you said it revs, how high can it rev
does it rev to only 2000-2500 rpm?
could be the AFM too

yea actually it only revved up as high as 2000 and maybe just a little ova...

go check the wires on the afm, sometimes it gets pretty brittle and when the engine, moves or you hit a bump, it can break

thats what happend to me, so try looking at that one and let us know what happens
