I have a vacuum boost gauge, does it really matter what i T it into? And would it affect the function of whatevers line I T it into?

The closer to the intake manifold it is, the more accurate it will be.

there would be a fitting on the side closer to the firewall for the stock boost gauge and you can tap it there
