Default New Head Unit Won't Work

I installed a head unit yesterday. Used the online wiring guide and hooked up the unit. The previous owner said something about plugging the antenna in to get the security system to work.... I need an antenna adapter.

Either way, I can't get the head unit to turn on. Is there a reset or something I don't know about? Where's the fuse? I found the panel under the hood, but I'm guessing there's another fuse box hidden inside somewhere. There's two wires under the console that look like plug in antenna wires. There's a small one and a big one, what does each do?

Any ideas?

Both antenna wires are just what they appear... antenna wires. The smaller one is for an antenna that's laminated to the rear windshield. The larger one is for the powered antenna.

Check the Radio and Dome fuses. Here's the wiring diagram for the stock radio:

And here's the diagram for the stock stereo w/CD player and amp:

If you're car has the amp you may need to remove that to get everything working properly, but I'm pretty sure the new head unit should still power up.

I got it. The red switch 12V wire in my radio plug was not hot when switched. I tapped into one of the other plugs with a hot 12V and now we're powered up and ready to rock
