Default couple of questions

question one: key & ignition
alright so i have the ability to take my key out when i turn the car to acc or the ON possition car will stay running so will everything else steering wheel is unlocked an all, i then can use any key to turn the car off or if i just turned it to the acc possition then i can use any key or object small enough to fit in the ignition entrace to turn her over.

does anyone elses supras do this?

question two: rear end
ok so i dont know if my rear end is just weird or if its just doing its thing but it doesnt like to do donuts as well as i would have hoped. doing the outside tire spinning thing, 1 tire fire. pretty sure its just the right tire. but when doing a burnout im leaving 2 tire marks. its labled LSD on the back from a junkyard.
is this right then?
and is there an upgrade? if i remember right TRD makes one but is it any good?

My 86.5 did the same thing with the key but only one of my keys did it so it was no big deal. I think it is something to do with one of the notches on the key getting worn down and letting it slip out. As for the LSD on your rear end that means you have a limited slip differential. As for upgrade I know suprastore sells an adjustable LSD but it is costly.

The tumblers in the ignition lock cylinder are worn out. You can have a new ignition lock installed. Eventually you won't need a 'your' key to start car, any key will work.

Then car gets stolen easier.

LSD = both tires spin to get you better traction.

PS: Donuts are for kids.

well i drift also, but you have to say donuts are pretty fun to do

i also have been getting a new noise up by the front tires, mainly if im moving about 5MPH backwards and turning or doing a quick left to right turn. it makes a clunk noise almost sounds like the DP is bottoming out. or a CV joint type of sound. like CRRRRRR

are you sure its the cylinder and not the key? my key slips out too but the one my parents have dont, i think its the key, to me having the key slip it is kinda convenient
