Any discount auto store sells them, but don't expect them to be in stock. They are called hood struts. $20 each, I just replaced mine a couple months ago.

I bought a set of these from horse power freaks for under 40 bucks.
I have always called them hood struts till parts guys started asking me what they were and correcting me. I attribute it to long hours alone with a car in the garage. You start to speak in slang or some shit. |
