passenger window wont open

I had the same problem except my passenger window wouldn't roll up, but they could roll down. And I could only do so with driver side switch. The passenger side switch didn't do anything. So I figured the passenger switch was bad, but I wanted to try something new. I figured the motor still worked, just needed to trick it somehow. So what I did was found the two lead wires coming from the passenger side window motor. I followed them to the nearest wire harness clip (All within the door panel .) and swapped their positions. Positive where the negative was and negative where the positive was. And bam! Both switches worked now, just it's opposite, ONLY for the passenger window. Up is actually down and down is up. If you willing to mess around and see if that fixes the problem give it a shot.
