Tri angle valve jobs

I heard that this will increase the power of the stock engine for relatively cheap? i was woundering if anyone has had this done, how much it cost, and what the horsepower gain was?

I've never done it personally, but a 3avj is definately been proven to increase performance.

It might not be worth the money though.

i was told it was relitavly inexpensive, do you know how it is done? do you have to completly remove the valve or can they get to them without taken the engine apart?

uh well you have to shave the valve seat in three seperate angles. I think it is 31/46/60 and i cna't particularly remembver if you need to take everything apart but just imagine remmoving your head from your car.

That's how much work it is.

so fdor a supra its romving intake, cooling system, exhaust, and many things like egr, vsv's, and a buncha other things i can't ermember.

almost everything but the block. a good 10 hours of labor with the right tools and know how

then its like $200 to havfe it angles done at a machine shop... a good priced shop at that.

yea and lets not forget you should pull your block out and have it decked while your at it. Its only an extra day of labor. You mine as well spend 500 at a machine shop and have them port, polish, and do a valve job.
