First start with the suspension. A drift car cant drift well without a good suspension. Then work on making the steering angle of the wheels better. Get used to drifting with low power then work your way up. You don't really need that much power to drift. For weight, you need to pretty much remove the interior and get a light weight seat. Take out the dash and make a custom carbon fiber or fiberglass dashboard with all the necessary gauges. Upgraded brakes, modified e-brake handle, modified shifter (you won't have a good time drifting with a short shifter). Thats all of the top of my head. And don't forget to rebuild your LSD.
