i just took off the clucth cover bolts w/o taking the fork out and that worked as well

Royal Pain in the ass is all I have to say. Easyer in than out thats for sure, I even had a lift and a tranny jack and going in still was my worst clutch to date. Mostly just tranny tunnel clearence, meaning not much.
