Default Hot Damn I Got It.

Alright. Now all I have to do is get the crank pulley off. So Many Thanks to I hate Hacks. Now I have to put the starter on....., again. I also get to change my drive belt and idle tensioner pulley. So I have my week ends work planned out along with some painting on the side.

Thanks Guys.

Don't go counting eggs bro. I still gotta get that pulley off. I think it wiggled to the left when I gave it a good tug.

Dude..., On my breaking bar I placed the shaft of an outdoor umbrella I saved thinking it may come in handy. It added a solid foot onto the breaker bar,

My old lady holding the screw driver didn't even know it happened. I was like that's it. She was like what?? That's it?? that's it, i said.. lol

Hey you're the one counting eggs in that mods post. "I did my timing belt, etc........" LOL didn't think I'd catch that huh?

Now take that screwdriver and get under the car and position it on the lower timing cover and on one "side" of the crank pulley then the other, nudging it back and forth. It will feel like you are not doing anything at first, but after about 20 minutes it will move about 1cm and then in another 10 minutes it will be off. Get up every 5 minutes and look at how far the crank pulley has moved from the lower timing cover to gauge your progress. Just don't do it too hard, you don't wanna fuck up the lower timing cover. Just take your time and be patient.

I'm not hiding anything and all of those mods are either done or sitting in the hatchback about to be done. I'm getting the head back TODAY.
I have alot of work to do. I can't believe your'e going to bust my chops for standing up for you cats.

You of all people on here know I am working on my auto. And I'm getting results. And I'm thankfull every time. The timing belt will be completed this evening or tomorrow morning at the latest.

My old lady is going out of town all weekend so I can get jacked up an sparks and work on my shizzle all weekend. She'll be home sunday night and leaving again until wednesday.

So I have to do a bunch of painting and a bunch of wrench slinging. I should get the starter on tonight as well. This car won't let me work at my pace it makes me work in supra time. Wich is seemingly a bit slower and less tolerant. But I'm good with that because ......,

I have no clue as to what I'm doing anyhow, lol.

Default Pics and questions.

check out the fuel pump assemblies. What the hell is this blue piggy back on the back of this carriage???

What is the procedure for the wire in on the walbro fuel pump. The instructions show me how to hook it to the pump but not where to plug it in too the auto it'self.

Other than that pictures of the head that I just picked up and my parts stash.
Enjoy.

Thanks for your support and you all know who you are. And ofcourse Dave at HPF, whom without I would still be waiting on parts. Now I am ahead of the car.

These are blackberry pics so work with me.

Dude can you take a joke? I know you are making progress thats why I'm busting your balls.

Your head looks immaculate. Your water passages on the exhaust side look perfect. Mine were all pitted and missing chunks, I'm still worried that its not gonna hold but only time will tell.

How's the crank pulley removal coming?

My block and my head could be in better shape and Thanks for the motivating verbality. I haven't started the crank pulley yet. I'm waiting till after dark. I still have a few more errands I have to run, before I can get started.

I feel like I have mateable surfaces. I feel I have a surface that is.., "good enough". I'm a picky mother man. I have the head gasket but before I can ready set GO. I need to get the walbro and tank back in and complete the timing belt, idle tensioner pulley. Put the main pulley back on.

Then I guess it's time to put the head on. If I work all weekend and don't post. I should have some cool pics buy sunday. Shoot for mounting the head on sunday / monday. We'll see how it goes. I have painting that has to move forward also. But the head is priority. Get that on and YES, baby.
