Personally I'm not a big fan of bastarding a supra
I had a friend ask me if a mustang 5.0 engine would fit in his mk3
I told him if he ever did that
I will race him for slips
I'm gonna make sure I win
Then I would take his car to the yard so I can have it crushd and destroyed

But good luck with your build bro

You're prolly going to have to switch the entire drive train out, and its gonna require a rediculous amount of fabrication

I'd rather see a small block in a Supra that is taken care of then some of the Pieces of crap stock that have been neglected...

I can see both sides of this because Chevy is making some outstanding crate engines. If the guy has the tools and the know how. F it.

I also agree with japanese muscle should stay that way. I wouldn't put a ford engine in a chevy..., maybe a jeep but as aforely stated.

Whatever floats your boat.

I'm bringing this one back from the dead Haha I have an 87 I put a crate 350 in with a th350 trans and now I just built a stroker, set the engine back and down a few more inches and I'm building the Turbo kit for it right now. If anyone needs any info about a SBC swap just shoot me an email @ LSXdoctor@gmail.com I have tons of pics

Here, here. It's bad enough with the whole, Import VS. Domestic thing going on all the time, but to drop a domestic engine into an inport, no matter what import, is sacreligious. I knew this dude when i lived in PA who had a Mazda B2200 with a 350 in it. I was like, "WTF, dude? Why didn't you just go buy a Chevy S-10 and do the 350 swap into it?" It's much easier. Some people just don't make any sense, at all. There's a reason why i buy imports. I like the power plants in them. If i didn't, then i'd buy domestic. Duh.

Yeah but if you like the body style of a import and the power of a V8 then why not buy a supra and put a 350 in it.
