Look sweet? Lol

It looks pretty much the same as the 1JZ except with 1 turbo.

If you got a USDM 7M-GTE it would be plug and play as long as the year matches the chassis of the car. With the 1JZ, the harness has to be extended to reach the dash harness. You'll also need a 1JZ bellhousing and an R154 transmission if you're only getting the engine itself, a 2jz power steering hose, etc... The 7M-GTE would be cheaper and has a little more aftermarket support.

By the way, what is an ignitor chip? I hope you're not talking about the chips on eBay that say you can get more power out of the car by installing it. But if you are talking about the ignitor, yes, you will need one of those so the car will run. And remember, when installing an engine and it doesnt start, check for air, fuel, and spark.

Wow well I take that back, that engine is amazing. The chip yes is the ignitor chips. Those ebay chips and all other ones are pure bull, it's all in one's head the power they achieve.

The 1JZ comes with the following

Complete Engine
ECU Wirring Harness Turbo Intake Manifold Exhaust Manifold Power Steering Pump Alternator Distributor Air Condationing Injection Fuel Rail Pulleys
Other than that I could find a 7MGTE for the same price but I risk the HG getting screwed. Though I could always change it ahead of time. There's just something I'm worried about in 7MGTE that I don't fear in the 1JZ. I'm pretty sure a 2JZ is out of my price range ATM.

The acceleration of a 1JZ seems like it would be better too just because of torque and hp, not to mention it's lighter too. I dunno I'm freakin lost right now.

I've heard if you go 1JZ swap you might as well go 2JZ any comments on this?
