I'd come up and help ya but ur near the top of florida and im damn near the bottom of it. Heres a short write-up I did, or tried to do.

7M-GE Removal

A few things I didn't mention on it. Take the glove box out and above it, you'll find the ecu, disconnect all the connectors in there that lead thru the firewall, then disconnect everything from the fuse box under the hood. Then pull the plugs thru the firewall and the engine should be completely disconnected from the front harness and dash harness, the rest it pretty straight forward, if its not coming out freely, then there's something holding it on still. Don't forget the 2 hoses in the back of the engine by the firewall, take out the shifter from the trans, there is also 1 ground on the passenger side from the firewall to the head, make sure u take that off. And I think thats about it. It's not hard, just time consuming. I've pulled 2 7M-GEs and the second time it took me 3 hours.

I never pull the engine with the transmition due to the height restriction in my garage ,pretty painless to get the 7M out. I used a jack with a board on it to lift the tranny and give me a good angle to get the engine out. If you don't use a sturdy board you risk puncturing the fluid pan on the trans. The more junk you take off the engine when it's in the bay the easier it is to get out. Good luck!
