sorry I don't have any pics cause I don't have the turbo, mine is the NA. If your car is a manual you can see if the clutch switch is good too.
Usually the engine harnesses on most cars have different plugs hanging because of different configurations but do cross reference the schematic to the color codes on the wires so you know exactly what the plugs are for. Thank you that is very helpful the two bundles of wires I was talking about were the brown and white ones that are bolted to the intake manifold. Now I still have dark grey two prong plug still hanging.

The only thing I can think of for that grey connector is what fOOgOO said, the EGR temperature sensor which only came on 87-92 non-turbo california models.

thanks for all ya'lls help. I got it running today. well not running so good i had a little fuel leak...i got the part on order and I will pick it up saturday. Thanks again for all ya'lls help

i have dark gray connector also hanging loose near the starter under intake..no problems.
