I bought mine for $1500. Shotty turbo and the interior was a bit torn up. And it had full 3" exhaust, boost controler, K&N intake, turbo timer. Don't spend more than $2000 on that car, for $2700 you could fine one bone stock and in near perfect shape. (If you look long enough.)

ok, ill keep that in mind. 2 grand it is :-P finding prices on exhausts n stuff now...COOLEEZE 3 inch cat back with magnaflow muffler, 400...high flow ceramic cat 240, all bolt on.

um, whats the name of the pipe that leads from the engine down towards the exhaust? its almost perpendicular to the ground. thats the one thats cracked.

interior isnt bad, except for the moonroof, which someone ripped the cloth almost entirely off of.

gah. negotiating sucks. thanks though

Also KBB on it is around $2000 in "fair" shape.

thats the downpipe? i thought the downpipe was the one leading to the second cat, parallel to the ground. crap, now i need a downpipe. any place you can just buy it by itself?

o0o, craigslist...thanks for the link. ok, ill keep that in mind as well....not to sound maniacal or anything, but ive been talking to myself for the past half an hour trying to find the best wording for convincing him its worth 2 grand. ive got quite the argument :P i hope it works.

grr, now im waiting til sunday to hear from him lol.

looking at exhausts, ive settled on the Cooleeze cat back exhaust at suprasport, coupled with the cheaper high flow catalytic converter, seeing as it doesnt come with one. my question being: the downnpipe i have has an old catalytic converter on it...if i bolt on everything else including the high speed cat, will it be legal in NY state? eventually im getting the cooleeze downpipe too (seeing as mine is cracked lol), so will ONE high flow cat be legal? thanks.
