On a non turbo car? Im sure it sounds great but will i get any performance out of a 4" outlet, he also midmounted the muffle which is somthing i dont want to do and glasspacks i dont think are legal in North Carolina, i want to make it street legal here lol with a nice hp gain from the exhaust.

Yea, Im not sure about a muffler adding a whole lot of performance. Also, I know the turbo car has a 2.5" exhaust, but I think the N/A might be smaller. He says 2.5" all the way back, so I'd think a muffler tip I would stay at 2.5" If you go any bigger, you might lose some torque. But hopefully nickleye or someone else will chime in and give their expertise.

its 2.5 inches with na and turbo stock with my na i used a powertech muffler i think they sound the best. i currently have one for my turbo. i bought a 3 in downpipe and had a muffler place put 3 in pipe after my test pipe to the muffler. i got both from cbwheels.com they are out of miami.

so justin...you only have one cat on your car right now? is that legal? noones answering my other thread, and im getting the car in 2 days...i need to know :-X i was thinking about getting all cooleeze stuff (downpipe, and the cat back on suprasport) plus a high flow cat to put in the cat back. one high flow cat, im assuming thats legal in NY state...someone at advanced auto parts said it would be.

if the car is n/a...then id lean towards the smaller of the two mufflers, just because of torque in the lower bands being present with that kind of muffler. i dont think it would be a whole lot though...so its up to you.
