Without knowing much about their compound and not being an engineer ,my unprofessional opinion would be to shy away from them.I could be wrong but that just doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling.

As for decking the block/head ,are you sure you even need to perform this task? Have you checked the surfaces with a straight edge or anything? It's not always the default nessecity.Another thing to keep in mind is any machining you do will affect the timing ,even if just a tiny bit.

Just my 2 cents...
