And after that, check to make sure your exhaust is not plugged.
Does it rev up to 5-6k in neutral?? Will it hold a steady 4k rpm for 10-15 sec. ???

If it ran fine before then it should after the repair. The only thing I can think of is that you might have the cam timing off. You can have either or both off and not have any mechanical damage, but it won't run very good. You might want to check your cold start injector switch or one of the other cold temp switches. If the car thinks it is always cold it will continue to run rich.

I had the same problem before. Its most likely a boost leak so check all of your intercooler hoses and see if they have any cracks in them or if they just are not hooked up at all.
