I see these performance chips advertised that plug into the wiring for the Intake Air Temp. Sensor. (two wire)
The 86 Supra has a 3 wire Air Thermo Sensor. 1 lead coming from the ignition switch, and 2 going to the ECU. This is all contained in one plug that controls the Air flow meter. Has anyone tried one of these. I looked at one and it appears to be just a 4 ohm resistor. Looks like I would need to unplug the connector to the Air flow meter. Jumper the center line from the ignition switch to the Air Flow meter, then plug in the resistor to the two outer connectors going back to the ECU. Anyone done this? |
