Cool Wont Start

I have 87 7mgte, it cranks but wont start. I've run all of the diagnotic tests I can find, but still can't isolate the problem. I replaced the ECU today and tried cranking it again. No luck. I shorted terminals E1 - T, and now my check engine light isn't comming on. I've check all of the fuses I can find, none are blown. When, I short terminal W to body ground, the check engine light comes on. I'm getting the same results with two different computers. If the check engine light doesn't come on, is that a sign that the ECU is not getting power? If so, is there anywhere I can check for a inline fuse that I may be missing?

im reasonably sure the turbo doesnt have a distributor, so you prolly wont find that. someone with a turbo should confirm that tho

Default turbo

right you are right my bad then check the cam position sensor that is where the dist used to be and it had coilpacks so there is more inplay than just those now you need to check the ignition module too make sure its doing its job
thanks damdog for correcting me and the coil packs if more than one usually dont all die together if there is no spark

I did a spark test, I have replaced the cam postiion sensor, computer (ECU), the ignition coil pack, the #2 junction box, the main relay and the ignitor. I still not getting spark or fuel. The car was running, when I took it local repair shop. Every since they got their hands on it, it's stopped running. The guy there kept trying to get me to sell it him, cheap. I think he did something to the car intentionally to disable it. I just haven't been able to find what. I'm sure he did something small to disable the car, I've just run out of ideas of where to look.
