Default 7mge -> 7mgte

i have an '89 n/a, and am hoping to sometime soon swap in a 7MGTE, i found a few online (ex: http://osakajdmmotors.com/introtoyota.htm).. but what in addition would i need to buy besides an r154*, and intercooler?

Just buy a whole nother car if you going to do the 7mgte swap, like a car that dosent run anymore you should find them fairly cheap... that way you have the computer which your going to need and you get the intercooler turbo the intake that car should have everything you need to do the conversion like parts of the wiring harness and stuff like that you should be able to find one for like 1000 bucks and less it will be worth it if they sell the car with everything it had when it came from the factory

nahh, it's not that i like my car alot.. it's that i can't afford to dish out another $4000. i WOULD sell my car, and dish out the extra 1000-2000$ to buy the stock turbo, but i doubt anyone will pay enough money for my car to do that :\

then buy a turbo car(a dead turbo car), and have all the turbo componets moved over onto your car.. you'll only to be able to boost lik 9 maybe 9.5 but that more then stock i belive, and with a bigger exhaust you should gain more horsepower but i wouldnt do this if you have alot of miles on your engine

Then your car will be known as a na-t
