Default help please..

ok i took off the whole left side of the engine( accordian pipe, air filter, all that jazz). cause i had a feeling my turbo was burning oil because its losing more oil than wats leaking. there was a pool of oil in the turbo liek a small puddle, and the hose leading from behind the 3000 pipe to the turbo had oil in it. this hose is pumping oil into my turbo and i need to know why. does any1 know? what it is? the pic is below of wat pipe im talking about. its the small pipe that sits behind the 3000 pipe. any thing to help would be great. my dad seems to think it culd be a pcv valve problem? where is that located?

oh and 1 other thing. when i start my car up when its not warmed up, it idles at like 1500-1600. then wen it warms up it goes to about 700-800, normal idle. then if i shut it off and turn it back on in a little while it is still warm, it will idle real low, at liek 500 and starts to sputter and wants to die, but it never does.

yea, i kinda have that same problem. im pretty sure that its blow by that causes it. i have oil in my intercooler piping and right in front of the intake turbine. it is normal to an extent. i dont really know how you would fix it other than new rings.

well, you said you were sputtering when the car got warm. so it could be that the oil from the crankcase is seeping past the rings into the combustion chamber and thats why your sputtering.

have you even checked your pcv valve yet?

the pipe right behind the 3000 pipe is your pcv pipe
