pull out a plug see if you have oil in there

as far I understand, supras dont have pcv valves, instead they have a fixed orifice on the throtle body where that pipe leads to.... that orifice happens to get clogged often..it is recomended to remove the pipe at the throtle body and clean the hole/orifice with carburetor cleaner/trhotle body ceaner and use a small pick or something to open the hole. also make sure the pcv pipe is not clogged up with gum...
hope that helps.. |
i didnt think there was a pvc valve cause all it did was lead to that little pipe. so would that make it rocket science? lol anyways, would cleaning that thing out make it stop shooting oil into my turbo? and any suggestions about the overflow bottle?
|
wont know until you try it.....
|
ok. i cleaned the thing out w carb cleaner and q-tips. and, the squeeky thing was my alternator belt, just sprayed it and it stopped. but, the filling of the radiator overflow. not a radiator cap, baught a new one. i thought a bhg makes u lose coolant, not gain it in the over flow bottle.
