Default ticking noise

I know this might sound strange, but is it coming from the exhaust side, or the intake side , if it is the exhaust side maybe your exhaust manifold gasket has developed a slight leak it could even be a leak on the turbo to manifold gasket .Just a thought ,if the problem is not fixed by changing the oil, as the sound in the engine is difficult to pinpoint .Hope this helps

good for you just make sure to keep checking your car and changing your oil often to keep your vital parts from damaging. When i had my supra one of my pistons were loose and it shot through the block, went through 3 engines before i let the tow trucks take it from the highway.. i miss that car

thats not so bad, my friend with a 240sx fabricated a custom dual electric fan setup for his car, and drove it down the highway without the lower coolant hose and blew his headgasket.. lol
