no no no no no LOL

the solonoid by the strut tower is the turbo pressure sensor which just tells the cluster what boost to display ;)

if you are losing boost or idling rough or puffing out alot of black smoke... "alot"... then check your intercooler pipes as you most likely have a leak

usually the pipe coming of the turbo to the intercooler is a culprit... also check the hose between the 3000 pipe and throttle body... or if you intake is cracked got a hole etc

basically you are looking for a leak between the air flow meter & the throttle body... if a leak is your problem

please describe in more detail "without caps lock on" what your supra is doing

Thanks

hey i replaced the wastegate but the turbo still isnt holding a boost. But when i was replacing the wastegate. i took off the accordian pipe.(the intake pipe that goes to the turbo) and it was ripped. And it is obviously leaking air.could that be my problem?my friend said that wouldnt make my turbo weak like that but you never know.thank you

the hole in the accordian/intake pipe will cause you to hit fuel cut and there will be lost of power as you will be running rich.... get a new intake pipe and check all of your intercooler pipes for the same thing, cracks, or slipped off etc
