getting wierd error code and need general advice please

I have an 89T that was throwing an error code of 51, was having some rough idle and would idle around 1700RPM or so, ordered a new TPS and installed tonight, issue still exists. However now it appears to be throwing an error code of 11....which puts me in a WTF!!! mode, I have found nothing in regards to error code 11. It blinks once waits about 2-3 seconds blinks again waits 5-6 seconds and repeats. Checked TSRM and nothing. When I lay on the gas pedal it slowly goes up, once it hits 2000-2500 it sputters a bit then at about 3000RPM clears up. Im leaning towards new ECU due to the previous error code being 51, which leads me to my next question, can I use an ECU from any MKIII that is a manual tranny turbo, or only my specific year of my car? Any help in this whole dibacle of mine is very much appreciated.

Its not your ECU. If your getting a code 11, Its a loose battery cable or ground. Check those out. The code 51 I believe is just your A/C switch or something like that. As for the poor running, Just get new plugs and wires. If that doesnt help, Start checking other things. Always do that first tho.

The plugs and wires are new, were replaced by my friend who was the previous owner, but just in case i will get new ones, what are the recomended kind....NGK Iridiums?

If you feel like paying for them. I dont believe in expensive spark plugs. Just get the ones from pepboys. Dont get the super cheap ones as the electrodes start to wear out and break off. Just get the ones that are like 4$ each.

UPDATE:

So I decided to check the timing, took the timing cover off and the friggin timing belt is hanging half way off the damn cam gears, could this be the problem to all my issue?....im leaning towards yes:D

on this issue, i got a code 52 and in school the program we use doesnt register anything under code 52. and im 100% sure it was a 52. and my anti lock break light stays on all the time. and when i start my car sumtimes if it isnt warmed up it will idle high but go down if i drive or let sit for a min or 2

any suggestions?
