Hey, sorry I didnt see ur I-M on aol. My bad. The only other thing that i can think of is the wiring. You'll have to extend it to reach all the dash components because the wiring harness is meant for a RHD.

Its ok man, i'm just tryin to get as much info as possible. There is always someone out there that knows more. If anyone knows more about the 1jz please write back.

Yeah you immed me while i was outside or something too. sorry bout that. As far as the physical swap, Some people sell motor mounts for it, And i think you have to cut and weld the trans cross member to fit. And yes the ECU was meant for a RHD so some of the stuff wont be long enough. Ive never seen the swap in perosn thou

I met a guy at nopi last weekend and he did the 1jz swap but he went ahead and did the right hand drive also. He said it was all pretty much plug n play. My question is the drive shaft. Is it the same driveshaft of the 7m-gte supra since they are using the same tranny.
