rpm don't go past 3500-4000 range

alrights i'll check on it agains, butta im sure i did it right last tim tho, ofcourse tdc and then just line up the cam gears.

A plugged exhaust will create too much back pressure and wont let you rev up.

that was what was wrong with my 89. No power, idled smooth but couldnt get the engine to rev over 3000. It would overheat real fast too. If your car over heats at the same time, I recommend checking the exhaust for pluggage.

That is what happens to cats when they start to clog up too. Chop it off and replace it with a pipe and see if that helps.
