Well, at least the car didn't blow up like it might have in other foreign countries! I am sure nothing gets stolen in any other country....................right..............
You might as well have the deck resurfaced. If it goes back turbo and you want to use a metal head gasket, it does pay to have that done, but it means pulling the block out too. There are ways to do that yourself, but a lot of time and very hard to get perfectly flat all the way from end to end. I hear the stock Toyota head gasket from the dealer works very well though too. Just make sure to torque it to ARP specs and you really should not have any more problems, unless you really go crazy with boost and/or nitrous. Keep us up to date! Russ |
