Default Is there a Cam Upgrade for 86.5 Supras?

Is there a cam upgrade for our cars? I mean cam upgrades on v8's increase power so why not for our mk3?

You can send em to a shop and have em redo the surface I believe. But you have to send em your cams I think.

There is a few companies that do custom cam grinds, but they are mostly for turbos and they cost way too much. The reason they work os well on v8s is because they made the cams tiny on purpose to meet fuel and emissions requirments from the epa, ever since the 70s. Our cars already have cams that would be comparable to aftermarket v8 cams. And if you change the cam profile your also going to sacrafice something, wheter it be low end torque engine life, top end, whatever cam you decide to use. I think the best way to get some power out of the 7mge is to raise the compression to about 10-1, Get a header and full exhaust, have your intake manifold and head ported and matched, And find a bigger throttle body or a way to machine the existing one bigger, and get one of those MAFT things to get rid of the maf sensor and tune your fuel. That would put you at about 260-280 hp.
