Default Suspension - TEMS - Coilovers

Does anybody have experience discontinuing the use of the TEMS? If so, any hints? Did you just disconect at the shocks, secure and leave all wiring in place?

I will be putting on new TEIN Flex coilovers with EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) and wont be using the TEMS system but I would just assume disconect it BUT leave it in place in case I ever want to go back all stock.

Any advice?

maybe you can look at this at another light

you can use the old wires as a guide for the new ones and jus wrap the old wires with them ,
that way it'll be cleaner
and u can use the old spot where the tems control used to go and put the edfc controller there

??

Follow the instructions for installing the edfc and the 4 motors.

As for the stock tems, Just disconnect the tems connectors on the tops of the shocks, hide them. Run your new lines for the edfc as pretty as possible and your done. You don't need to disable anything. You can remove the tems controller but I just left mine in. You'll still have the tems lights on the dash, but who cares?

Thumbs up

Thanks. That's what I was planning on but I didn't know if the TEMS computer was going to be confused. I think I'll just disconnect that too.

Sounds like you have TEIN Flex. Any tips, comments, or advice on them?
