Well MkIII are known for that exact problem. research??The tranny,however was the mechanics fault.If getting a domestic, buy a Buick GNX! 13.1 sec 1/4 stock.

i love GNX's.. but really, there expsensive lol. i think id rather just buy a Turbo regal that looks like a gnx, unless you have the money.

Sounds like you might be getting rid of a MK111 soon, how much, what year and any mods done to it. Just curious.

Any car can crap out on you. That is why so many people hate fords or hate chevy's, even though there are many more that are happy with their cars and don't believe the talk. It just depends on how persistant you are about making something work. I bet a lot of us have stories about our Supra's that make you wonder why we would even be within a mile radius of one!
