Should i register? 06-16-2005 08:18 AM

yer a stock supra does 6-7 pounds of boost, but they can efectivlely handle 11 or 12 until u hit fuel cut. I plan on boosting mine (with help from a few washers) to about 10 pounds when my new motor is installed.

10psi stocker turbo will be happy and no fuel cut problems

don't buy a fuel cut defender

if you've NEVER experienced fuel cut off before .. you will crap your pants the first time it happens to you .

check this out its a must if your going above 12 psi. http://www.turbosmart.com.au/fuel_cut_defenders.htm

don't waste ya money.. they won't work on our cars

our cars require Type K fuel cut defenders which only hks make i believe

and if you want to put a fcd on you will need to ensure you have the fuel above fuel cut... a fcd clamps the signal from the afm to the ecu... the ecu from now on will never know above a certain amount of air how much is "really" going in
therefore if you raise the boost from say 10 to 15.. the ecu won't know it and will not send the required fuel to go with it... then BOOM rebuild time

make sure you have the fuel

ok ok, thats cool just thought it would help
