if you dont want it to be half assed then your gonna have to pony up for some sheet metal work. Cutting sheet metal, welding it in place, grinding it off and skim coating with body filler is the proper way to do this job...and trust me thats gonna be a heck of a lot more expensive than just buying mouldings.
Also, have you ever seen a Supra with the mouldings filled? thye look wierd to me, and there are places like where the bumbers meet the fenders that have to be figured out for transitions...Im pretty sure you dont want to try this mod
