You need to replace the exhaust, especially the cat on the downpipe. If you don't I will heat up your engine bay more then I'd be comfortable with. Replacing the intake and exhaust will net you 8 or 9 psi without a boost controller. This will put you around 300 crank hp, 12psi on the stock exhaust will probably net you around the same, maybe less. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't chance it if I were you.

How's your headgasket?

Exhaust- $200-$500
Intake- ebay $40, a real one $100-$130
Downpipe w/ elbow $250 -$400
Downpipe w/o elbow $100-$200

$1000 should get you there, manual boost contollers are cheap too. Make sure you get an aftermarket boost gauge so you can moniter your boost level, the stock gauge reads to 8psi and is slow to react.
