is the HKS Super Mega Flow Air Intake System better then the K&N air intake system? ... is the Greddy Auto Turbo Timer and Harnesses good and also is the Greddy Profec B Spec II Boost Controller and Remote Switch good... lol

In order of you asking, Yes, yes, NO. Go with a manual boost controller.

frostburn 07-12-2006 12:42 PM

ok so... can u tell me what the manual one is called? and price?

IHateHacks 07-12-2006 12:44 PM

Dude can you read? I havent been on that site for a while but allll the way down to the right they have turboXs manual boost controllers with a picture.

IHateHacks 07-12-2006 12:44 PM

Id go with the first one simple, effective, cheap. $75 plus shipping.

wats the difference between a turbo timer and a boost controller?

frostburn 07-13-2006 02:22 AM

boost controler lets you raise boost aka psi, all a turbo timer does it shuts off the car after idleing without a key in the ignition so i can go in ur house or whatever u need to do.

ive been looking at a lot of boost controllers today. wats better. electrical or manual. and on a lot of them they have knobs for "lo boost" and "hi boost" WATS WITH THAT? and once uve set ur boost, how do u know how high u r boosting. a new boost guage? and if so, do u have to like take the caxr out and let it boost fully to see?

You install the boost controller in line with the wastegate actuator vaccum line, run your car, see where it is (this is after you have a good/better boost gauge). Then turn it up or down as desired. It should come with instructions. You can get manual boost controllers for like...15$. Just search for them on froogle.
