um, 16's do NOT fit the supra. It's just too big of a car.
If i were to upgrade a daily driver, I would put 17x8 or 17x9 all around. The wheels fit the car, make it look good, and you wouldn't stand out to riceboys if you chose the right wheels. stock specs, perhaps, but wheels and tires? no thank you. Those Drag wheels are a nice option. Just because you up the wheel size doesn't automatically mean you have to run super low profile tires... 225/50r16 is just not enough traction for the substantial heft of the supra. 255/40r17 or something like that would be mint. You don't have to buy 205/30r17's like the wheel places sell... you have the freedom to choose your own tires. fwiw: it may not be rice, but to me, it's pointless to go out and spend all kinds of money on wheels, just to buy the same size that came on the car. |
