1. how do you signal to someone that you wanna race, and how do you know when the race is over? 2. i drive a 1990 turbocharged supra, and i heard that there was like some way to rev it up before a race and it will do better is this true? if so whats the secret any help will be appreciated thanks |

1. there's alot of ways to signal a race... i usually rev my car, or you point forward.. start rolling forward at a light.. or just straight out ask the guy. make sure you not gonna kill anyone tho.
2. is it a manual or automatic? with a manual, u can rev up the car and launch it harder, but you have to work on that.. see how high of an RPM you can launch at without spinning your tires. also.. work on shift points.. if your shifting at 3000rpm in a race, you wont do very good.. but try and stay below redline.. i usually shift at 5000-5500rpm. good luck. |

actually this thread is talking about racing and supraboy wanted to know a few things about racing.
plus the thread was out of date so it didnt matter. most threads topics are carried on to other things anyway |

This is old and for weezl, But in your story with bikes you mentioned flashing your lights are her, and then she turned in front of you. Perhaps she took the faslhing lights as a "you can go" thing. lol. I know why people cut off bikes too. I saw a motorcycle coming down the road and turned in front of him, at a safe distance but he was closer than i thought. And they look like their either going really slow or it looks like a car thats further down the road.

are you talking about racing random pple? i got an advice for you,,, DONT F***ING DO IT dont you know where local tuners hangout and race in your area? do it with them but if you were talking about on a closed out street we flash our brights to clear the track and warn everybody that a race is about to happen and after finishing the hazard lights are turned on
