It's not really a could air intake, more like a super expensive cone filter with a mounting bracket that mates to your mass air flow sensor. Dont get the cheezy ones off ebay go here

http://935motorsports.com/catalog/in...cPath=79_14_26 If you go to 935 get ready to wait like two weeks or more.

I never liked how diffrent companys call it a cold air intake, If any thing its actually hotter than your stock intake setup, unless you have a cool block off plate. I made A block off out of a large aluminum canester, painted you would never know where it came from. people are allready saying "o man were did you get that can I get one" lol

thats an air vent, or a scoop, that is not what a cold air intake is, you can incorporate that idea with your intake,

but i have never heard of a cold air intake getting bolted to the fender

i still dunt know how the hell are you gonna bolt that thing to your fender?

what are you gonna do? cut a hole in your fender to put the intake in?

like i said i have never seen an intake bolted to a fender

I haven't purchased this yet but I need to replace the hose and I would rather not get something used and I don't like the accordian style hoses much anyways so I am probably going to get this.

I'd think he's talking about a cold air intake system... and just confused cause the intake is behind the bumper, off to the side near your fendor? (Turbo first, Non-Turbo second, note the air filter at the end of the intake system.)

I know this is a post from years ago, but its the same concept that I use in my SHOs. The air in the engine bay can get hot negating the effect of having a cold air intake. Since you want cold air and not hot air you want to pull air from the fender. In truth, since the Supra is a turbo-ed car. The air is going to be compressed and ran through a cooler, you wouldnt see a big improvement unless on a naturally aspirated supra. Also reason why I'm on here is I'm getting a supra soon so I'm learning as much about the car as I can. So please criticize me if I'm wrong, I'm new to the car.
