Coolant temperature?
Could someone with an aftermarket water temp gauge and a good motor tell me what a 7MGTE runs at?
With a NAPA 180 F degree thermostat im seeing 185-200 F degrees with 200 under full boost climbing a mountain on the highway, and 185-190 around town, stop and go. I bought a Toyota 88 C degree thermostat (190.4 F degrees) that weighs 3 times as much as the crappy one im using at the moment, but seeing its a higher temp im hesistant to use it. So could anyone with an accurate aftermarket water temp gauge and a known degree thermostat please tell me what you run? |
