crooked tow truck companies

Well I know how you feel, I used to work for a tow company and know what your talking about. It does suck..

If the police contacted the tow company to impound your car then the tow company (at least in my state) is required to charge a fixed hourly rate ($95.00ph in 1995) that starts adding up from when they receive the call until they drop the car and finish their paperwork at the impound lot of their choosing.. This can be many hours at 95$ per hour...

The $35 a day storage is a poor incentive for people to get their car back quicker..Often makes it impossible to get your car back at all...

I know none of this is helpful but I figured I would try to explain it some.
