no motors are direct bolt-in. But a 7M-GTE is probably the easiest.

what does it take to get this engine in. I am not new to doing engine swaps just new to supra's. Is there any where that can give me some info on the swap such as wiring, mounts, brackets, etc. The story is a friend of mine got the car for like 100$ the car look like new inside and out, but had a spun bearing. So he took the engine out and took to a guy to get a rebuild. The guy took the engine apart. lost about every part and cant seem to get it back together. Now the mechanic want to sell him a engine for 1500 dollars sound a little high to me. I found a engine for around 400$ on the internet. But he wants to turbo the engine. I figure i could find some jdm motor with turbo stock. so if you can lead me to a site that deals with this swaps or give me some info on doing a swap in this car that would be great!!!!!!!

ha i was thinkin the same exact thing.

i just bought a 7mgte which is the stock turbo motor for these cars. only mine was jdm so it needs to be made to U.S. specs. it would already be in if i had the time to do so. i got my motor with a cut harness, ac pump, ps pump, alt, im, em, tubro, broken fan, and fly wheel. bought it for 1k over ebay and it looks in an ok condition.
