Im not sure I criticized you at all. You and I just have different ideas of whats cool or not. You made an air box out of an old bucket, I said if you like it...great.

I got stalled on my front lip today, cause Im just tired today, and half the metal brackets I bought broke in half when I tried to bend them, so I gotta go back to the hardware store tomorrow...just dont feel like it today.

What in the world is a wind diffuser?

I am using vinyl wall base moulding to make my front lip. If I ever get back to it...

its basically a fibergalss piece that replaces tha lip on the front and it diverts air to the vents and reduces drag from wind resistance..

no those are jus sum aftermarket lips,, they look good and all but if you get the wrong ones they actually jus add more resistence,, theres only sum manufacturers that actually took this problem and came up with solutions,, like veilside, extreme dimensions, and another one but i cant remember the name wind diffusers look like the one in the pic

Thats great for the track but not really road worthy for normal street driving.
It would come in handy in the winter as a snow plow though I bet.

  2. 8 - steel mending strips 4'' variety @ $.59/ea.
  3. 1 - 8ft. strip of drilled steel strapping material @ $7.95
  4. 4 bags or #10-24 x 1/2'' machine screws with nuts @ $.98/ea
  5. 1 can of contact cement @ $6.95
  6. 1 - 3'' cheap paint brush @ $1.95

That lip looks real nice. I had no choice but to take mine off over here cause there are speed bumps everywhere on just about every road and I need the clearance.
Gutter guard from home depot will be one of my next projects for a new grill
and maybe Ill hook a scoop behind it for the intake (just said that for the threads sake, scoop has to be in right fenderwell).
