^^ Part of the problem is the factory head bolt torque specs were too low.
I have another theory that the lack of a "bridge" accross the water jackets around the cylinder walls on the block also contributes to this at higher boost levels. Looks at the JZ block pictures sometimes and you will see they added "bridges" across the water jackets..(not many bhg's) This is just my opinion.. ![]() Last edited by joel williams; 05-24-2006 at 09:15 PM. |

I had the same issue, turns out I had a cracked coolant line. It was one of the small lines leading to the throttlebody. It was a hard one to spot, inspect all the little hoses around the engine. Good luck

thanks everyone for you help but i found out why my car was overheating. the radiator was bad that's all.
