Has anybody had the problem of boost jumping? What i mean is when i hit around 3000 rpms the car just feels like the turbo pressure jumps, from little or none to around 8lbs or more. I read somewhere about our guages not being that accurate or fast to give us good reading, but it jumps to

The boost jumping is the tubro spooling up...

i know that much , but never used to have lag then jump. It was always smooth around 1800+ rpms then the hard pulling to red line

"Was air filter?" Does that mean it was the air filter causing your problems?

If not, Check your vacuum line that runs to the waistgate actuator on the turbo for leaks/cracks. Check all your vacuum lines while your there.. Get an aftermarket gauge installed as the stocker is a POS.

yeah i was saying it was the airfilter.(sorry i was running late for a meeting at work) I took it off to test it, and thought it was fixed but did it again. I read what you said about the wastegate line, sure enough cracked, hard, torn, everything. thanks for the info my babys back to normal
